1 Corinthians 4:1
AMP: So then, let us [who minister] be regarded as servants of Christ and stewards (trustees, administrators) of the mysteries of God [that He chooses to reveal].
ASV: Let a man so account of us, as of ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
BSB: So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.
DARBY: Let a man so account of us as servants of Christ, and stewards of [the] mysteries of God.
DRA: Let a man so account of us as of the ministers of Christ, and the dispensers of the mysteries of God.
KJV: Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
1 Corinthians 4:2
AMP: In this case, moreover, it is required [as essential and demanded] of stewards that one be found faithful and trustworthy.
ASV: Here, moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
BSB: Now it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.
DARBY: Here, further, it is sought in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
DRA: Here now it is required among the dispensers, that a man be found faithful.
KJV: Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
1 Corinthians 4:3
AMP: But [as for me personally] it matters very little to me that I may be judged by you or any human court [on this point]; in fact, I do not even judge myself.
ASV: But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man`s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
BSB: I care very little, however, if I am judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.
DARBY: But for me it is the very smallest matter that I be examined of you or of man's day. Nor do I even examine myself.
DRA: But to me it is a very small thing to be judged by you, or by man's day; but neither do I judge my own self.
KJV: But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.
1 Corinthians 4:4
AMP: I am aware of nothing against myself and I feel blameless, but I am not by this acquitted [before God]. It is the Lord who judges me.
ASV: For I know nothing against myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
BSB: My conscience is clear, but that does not vindicate me. It is the Lord who judges me.
DARBY: For I am conscious of nothing in myself; but I am not justified by this: but he that examines me is the Lord.
DRA: For I am not conscious to myself of any thing, yet am I not hereby justified; but he that judgeth me, is the Lord.
KJV: For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
1 Corinthians 4:5
AMP: So do not go on passing judgment before the appointed time, but wait until the Lord comes, for He will both bring to light the [secret] things that are hidden in darkness and disclose the motives of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.
ASV: Wherefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall each man have his praise from God.
BSB: Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
DARBY: So that do not judge anything before [the] time, until the Lord shall come, who shall also both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and shall make manifest the counsels of hearts; and then shall each have [his] praise from God.
DRA: Therefore judge not before the time; until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise from God.
KJV: Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
1 Corinthians 4:6
AMP: Now I have applied these things [that is, the analogies about factions] to myself and Apollos for your benefit, believers, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written [in Scripture], so that none of you will become arrogant and boast in favor of one [minister or teacher] against the other.
ASV: Now these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes; that in us ye might learn not [to go] beyond the things which are written; that no one of you be puffed up for the one against the other.
BSB: Brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us not to go beyond what is written. Then you will not take pride in one man over another.
DARBY: Now these things, brethren, I have transferred, in their application, to myself and Apollos, for your sakes, that ye may learn in us the [lesson of] not [letting your thoughts go] above what is written, that ye may not be puffed up one for [such a] one against another.
DRA: But these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollo, for your sakes; that in us you may learn, that one be not puffed up against the other for another, above that which is written.
KJV: And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.
1 Corinthians 4:7
AMP: For who regards you as superior or what sets you apart as special? What do you have that you did not receive [from another]? And if in fact you received it [from God or someone else], why do you boast as if you had not received it [but had gained it by yourself]?
ASV: For who maketh thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? but if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory as if thou hadst not received it?
BSB: For who makes you so superior? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not?
DARBY: For who makes thee to differ? and what hast thou which thou hast not received? but if also thou hast received, why boastest thou as not receiving?
DRA: For who distinguisheth thee ? Or what hast thou that thou hast not received ? And if thou hast received, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it ?
KJV: For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?
1 Corinthians 4:8
AMP: [You behave as if] you are already filled [with spiritual wisdom and in need of nothing more]. Already you have become rich [in spiritual gifts]! You [in your conceit] have ascended your thrones and become kings without us; and how I wish [that it were true and] that you did reign as kings, so that we might reign with you.
ASV: Already are ye filled, already ye are become rich, ye have come to reign without us: yea and I would that ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
BSB: Already you have all you want. Already you have become rich. Without us, you have become kings. How I wish you really were kings, so that we might be kings with you!
DARBY: Already ye are filled; already ye have been enriched; ye have reigned without us; and I would that ye reigned, that *we* also might reign with you.

1 Corinthians 4:9
AMP: For, I think, God has exhibited us apostles at the end of the line, like men sentenced to death [and paraded as prisoners in a procession], because we have become a spectacle to the world [a show in the world’s amphitheater], both to angels and to men.
ASV: For, I think, God hath set forth us the apostles last of all, as men doomed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, both to angels and men.
BSB: For it seems to me that God has displayed us apostles at the end of the procession, like prisoners appointed for death. We have become a spectacle to the whole world, to angels as well as to men.
