2 Corinthians 11:1

AMP: I wish you would bear with me [while I indulge] in a little foolishness; but indeed you are bearing with me [as you read this].

ASV: Would that ye could bear with me in a little foolishness: but indeed ye do bear with me.

BSB: I hope you will put up with a little of my foolishness, but you are already doing that.

ASV: But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity and the purity that is toward Christ.

BSB: I am afraid, however, that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may be led astray from your simple and pure devotion to Christ.

DARBY: But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craft, [so] your thoughts should be corrupted from simplicity as to the Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:4

AMP: For [you seem willing to allow it] if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted. You tolerate all this beautifully [welcoming the deception].

ASV: For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we did not preach, or [if] ye receive a different spirit, which ye did not receive, or a different gospel, which ye did not accept, ye do well to bear with [him].

BSB: For if someone comes and proclaims a Jesus other than the One we proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit than the One you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted, you put up with it very easily.

ASV: But though [I be] rude in speech, yet [am I] not in knowledge; nay, in every way have we made [this] manifest unto you in all things.

BSB: Although I am not a polished speaker, I am certainly not lacking in knowledge. We have made this clear to you in every way possible.

DARBY: But if [I am] a simple person in speech, yet not in knowledge, but in everything making [the truth] manifest in all things to you.

2 Corinthians 11:7

AMP: Or did I [perhaps] sin by humbling myself so that you might be exalted and honored, because I preached God’s gospel to you free of charge?

ASV: Or did I commit a sin in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I preached to you the gospel of God for nought?

BSB: Was it a sin for me to humble myself in order to exalt you, because I preached the gospel of God to you free of charge?

DARBY: Have I committed sin, abasing myself in order that *ye* might be exalted, because I gratuitously announced to you the glad tidings of God?

2 Corinthians 11:8

AMP: I robbed other churches by accepting [more than their share of] financial support for my ministry to you.

ASV: I robbed other churches, taking wages [of them] that I might minister unto you;

BSB: I robbed other churches by accepting their support in order to serve you.

DARBY: I spoiled other assemblies, receiving hire for ministry towards you.

DRA: I have taken from other churches, receiving wages of them for your ministry.

2 Corinthians 11:9

AMP: And when I was with you and ran short [financially], I did not burden any of you; for what I needed was fully supplied by the brothers (Silas and Timothy) who came from Macedonia (the church at Philippi). So I kept myself from being a burden to you in any way, and will continue to do so. [Phil 4:15, 16]

ASV: and when I was present with you and was in want, I was not a burden on any man; for the brethren, when they came from Macedonia, supplied the measure of my want; and in everything I kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and [so] will I keep [myself].

BSB: And when I was with you and in need, I was not a burden to anyone; for the brothers who came from Macedonia supplied my needs. I have refrained from being a burden to you in any way, and I will continue to do so.

DARBY: And being present with you and lacking, I did not lazily burden any one, (for the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied what I lacked,) and in everything I kept myself from being a burden to you, and will keep myself.

2 Corinthians 11:10

AMP: As the truth of Christ is in me, my boast [of independence] will not be silenced in the regions of Achaia (southern Greece).

ASV: As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this glorying in the regions of Achaia.

BSB: As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, this boasting of mine will not be silenced in the regions of Achaia.

DARBY: [The] truth of Christ is in me that this boasting shall not be stopped as to me in the regions of Achaia.
