Exodus 25:2

Exodus 25:8

Exodus 25:9

Exodus 25:11

AMP: You shall overlay the ark with pure gold, overlay it inside and out, and you shall make a gold border (frame) around its top.

ASV: And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.

Exodus 25:12

AMP: You shall cast four gold rings for it and attach them to the four feet, two rings on either side.

AMP: You shall make two cherubim (winged angelic figures) of [solid] hammered gold at the two ends of the mercy seat.

Exodus 25:19

AMP: Make one cherub at each end, making the cherubim of one piece with the mercy seat at its two ends.

Exodus 25:20

AMP: The cherubim shall have their wings spread upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings and facing each other. The faces of the cherubim are to be looking downward toward the mercy seat.

ASV: And the cherubim shall spread out their wings on high, covering the mercy-seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be.

BSB: And the cherubim are to have wings that spread upward, overshadowing the mercy seat. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the mercy seat.

DARBY: And the cherubim shall stretch out [their] wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be [turned].

DRA: Let them cover both sides of the propitiatory, spreading their wings, and covering the oracle, and let them look one towards the other, their faces being turned towards the propitiatory wherewith the ark is to be covered.

KJV: And the cherubim shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.

Exodus 25:21

AMP: You shall put the mercy seat on the top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony which I will give you.

ASV: And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

BSB: Set the mercy seat atop the ark and put the Testimony that I will give you into the ark.

AMP: There I will meet with you; from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, I will speak [intimately] with you regarding every commandment that I will give you for the Israelites.

ASV: And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

BSB: And I will meet with you there above the mercy seat, between the two cherubim that are over the ark of the Testimony; I will speak with you about all that I command you regarding the Israelites.

Exodus 25:23

AMP: “You shall make a table of acacia wood, two cubits long, one cubit wide, and one and a half cubits high.

ASV: And thou shalt make a table of acacia wood: two cubits [shall be] the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.

ASV: And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and the spoons thereof, and the flagons thereof, and the bowls thereof, wherewith to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

BSB: You are also to make the plates and dishes, as well as the pitchers and bowls for pouring drink offerings. Make them out of pure gold.

DARBY: And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and cups thereof, and goblets thereof, and bowls thereof, with which to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.

DRA: Thou shalt prepare also dishes, and bowls, censers, and cups, wherein the libations are to be offered of the purest gold.

Exodus 25:30

AMP: You shall set the bread of the Presence (showbread) on the table before Me at all times. [John 6:58]

ASV: And thou shalt set upon the table showbread before me alway.

BSB: And place the Bread of the Presence on the table before Me at all times.

Exodus 25:31

AMP: “You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand and its base and its shaft shall be made of hammered work; its cups, its calyxes and its flowers shall be all of one piece with it.

ASV: And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made, even its base, and its shaft; its cups, its knops, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.

BSB: Then you are to make a lampstand of pure, hammered gold. It shall be made of one piece, including its base and shaft, its cups, and its buds and petals.

DARBY: And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of pure gold; [of] beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made: its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of the same.

DRA: Thou shalt make also a candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold, the shaft thereof, and the branches, the cups, and the bowls, and the lilies going forth from it.

KJV: And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

Exodus 25:32

AMP: Six branches shall come out of its sides; three branches of the lampstand out of the one side and three branches of the lampstand out of its other side [the shaft being the seventh branch].

ASV: And there shall be six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:

BSB: Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand — three on one side and three on the other.

DARBY: And six branches shall come out of the sides thereof three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof, and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof;

Exodus 25:33

AMP: Three cups shall be made like almond blossoms, each with a calyx and a flower on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms on the other branch with a calyx and a flower—so for the six branches coming out of the lampstand;

ASV: three cups made like almond-blossoms in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three cups made like almond-blossoms in the other branch, a knop and a flower: so for the six branches going out of the candlestick:

BSB: There are to be three cups shaped like almond blossoms on the first branch, each with buds and petals, three on the next branch, and the same for all six branches that extend from the lampstand.

DARBY: three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower: and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand.

DRA: Three cups as it were nuts to every branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily; and three cups, likewise of the fashion of nuts in the other branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily. Such shall be the work of the six branches, that are to come out from the shaft:

KJV: Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.

Exodus 25:34

AMP: and in the [center shaft of the] lampstand [you shall make] four cups shaped like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and their flowers.

ASV: and in the candlestick four cups made like almond-blossoms, the knops thereof, and the flowers thereof;

BSB: And on the lampstand there shall be four cups shaped like almond blossoms with buds and petals.

DARBY: And in the lamp-stand four cups shaped like almonds, its knobs and its flowers;

DRA: And in the candlestick itself shall be four cups in the manner of a nut, and at every one, bowls and lilies.

KJV: And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.

Exodus 25:35

AMP: A calyx shall be under the first pair of branches coming out of it, and a calyx under the second pair of branches coming out of it, and a calyx under the third pair of branches coming out of it, for the six branches coming out of the lampstand.

ASV: and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, and a knop under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the candlestick.

BSB: For the six branches that extend from the lampstand, a bud must be under the first pair of branches, a bud under the second pair, and a bud under the third pair.

DARBY: and a knob under two branches of it, and [again] a knob under two branches of it, and [again] a knob under two branches of it, for the six branches that proceed out of the lamp-stand.

DRA: Bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six coming forth out of one shaft.

KJV: And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

Exodus 25:36

AMP: Their calyxes and their branches shall be of one piece with it; all of it shall be one piece of hammered work of pure gold.

ASV: Their knops and their branches shall be of one piece with it; the whole of it one beaten work of pure gold.

BSB: The buds and branches are to be all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.

DARBY: Their knobs and their branches shall be of itself all of one beaten work of pure gold.

DRA: And both the bowls and the branches shall be of the same beaten work of the purest gold.

KJV: Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.

Exodus 25:37

AMP: Then you shall make the lamps [of the lampstand] seven in number [with one lamp at the top of the shaft]. The priests shall set up its seven lamps so that they will light the space in front of it.

ASV: And thou shalt make the lamps thereof, seven: and they shall light the lamps thereof, to give light over against it.

BSB: Make seven lamps and set them up on the lampstand so that they illuminate the area in front of it.

DARBY: And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof, and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may shine out before it;

DRA: Thou shalt make also seven lamps, and shalt set them upon the candlestick, to give light over against.

Exodus 25:38

AMP: Its snuffers and their trays shall be of pure gold.

ASV: And the snuffers thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

BSB: The wick trimmers and their trays must be of pure gold.

DARBY: and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold.

DRA: The snuffers also and where the snuffings shall be put out, shall be made of the purest gold.

Exodus 25:39

AMP: It shall be made from a talent (50-80 lbs.) of pure gold, including all these utensils.

ASV: Of a talent of pure gold shall it be made, with all these vessels.
