AMP: “Son of man, how is the wood of the grapevine (Israel) better than any wood of a branch which is among the trees of the forest? [Ps 80:8-13; Jer 2:21]
ASV: Son of man, what is the vine-tree more than any tree, the vine-branch which is among the trees of the forest?
BSB: “Son of man, how does the wood of the vine surpass any other branch among the trees in the forest?
DARBY: Son of man, what is the wood of the vine more than any wood, the vine-branch, which is among the trees of the forest?
DRA: Son of man, what shall be made of the wood of the vine, out of all the trees of the woods that are among the trees of the forests?
KJV: Son of man, What is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?
Ezekiel 15:3
AMP: Can wood be taken from it to make any object? Or can men take a peg from it on which to hang any vessel?
ASV: Shall wood be taken thereof to make any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
BSB: Can wood be taken from it to make something useful? Or can one make from it a peg on which to hang utensils?
DARBY: Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will [men] take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
DRA: Shall wood be taken of if, to do any work, or shall a pin be made of it for any vessel to hang thereon?

Ezekiel 15:4
AMP: If it has been thrown into the fire for fuel, and the fire has consumed both of its ends and the middle section has been charred, is it suitable or useful for anything?
ASV: Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire hath devoured both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned: is it profitable for any work?
BSB: No, it is cast into the fire for fuel. The fire devours both ends, and the middle is charred. Can it be useful for anything?
DARBY: Behold, it is given to the fire for fuel: the fire consumeth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned; is it fit for [any] work?
DRA: Behold it is cast into the fire for fuel: the fire hath consumed both ends thereof, and the midst thereof is reduced to ashes: shall it be useful for any work?
KJV: Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?
Ezekiel 15:5
AMP: Notice this, even when it was complete, it was not useful and was not made into anything. How much less, after the fire has burned [part of] it and [the remainder of] it is charred, can it still be made into anything?
ASV: Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned, shall it yet be meet for any work!
BSB: Even when it was whole, it could not be made useful. How much less can it ever be useful when the fire has consumed it and charred it!
DARBY: Behold, when it was whole, it was used for no work; how much less when the fire hath consumed it, and it is burned, should it yet be used for any work?
DRA: Even when it was whole it was not fit for work: how much less, when the fire hath devoured and consumed it, shall any work be made of it?
KJV: Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?
Ezekiel 15:6
AMP: Therefore, thus says the Lord God, ‘Like the wood of the grapevine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so have I given up the people of Jerusalem;
ASV: Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As the vine-tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
BSB: Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘Like the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so I will give up the people of Jerusalem.
DARBY: Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: As the wood of the vine among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
DRA: Therefore thus saith the Lord God: As the vine tree among the trees of the forests which I have given to the fire to be consumed, so will I deliver up the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
KJV: Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
Ezekiel 15:7
AMP: and I set My face against them. Though they have come out of the fire, yet the fire will consume them. Then you will know [without any doubt] that I am the Lord, when I set My face against them.
ASV: And I will set my face against them; they shall go forth from the fire, but the fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah, when I set my face against them.
BSB: And I will set My face against them. Though they may have escaped the fire, yet another fire will consume them. And when I set My face against them, you will know that I am the LORD.
DARBY: And I will set my face against them: they shall go forth from [one] fire, and [another] fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah when I set my face against them.
DRA: And I will set my face against them: they shall go out from fire, and fire shall consume them : and you shall know that I am the Lord, when I shall have set my face against them.
KJV: And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.
Ezekiel 15:8
AMP: I will make the land desolate (ruined, deserted), because they have acted unfaithfully [through their idolatry],’ says the Lord God.”
ASV: And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord Jehovah.
BSB: Thus I will make the land desolate, because they have acted unfaithfully,’ declares the Lord GOD.”
DARBY: And I will make the land a desolation, because they have wrought unfaithfulness, saith the Lord Jehovah.
DRA: And I shall have made their land a wilderness, and desolate, because they have been transgressors, saith the Lord God.
KJV: And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
