Ezekiel 2:1

AMP: Then He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet and I will speak to you.”

ASV: And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.

BSB: “Son of man,” He said to me, “stand up on your feet and I will speak to you.”

DARBY: And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak with thee.

DRA: This was the vision of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And I saw, and I fell upon my face, and I heard the voice of one that spoke. And he said to me: Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak to thee.

Ezekiel 2:2

AMP: Then as He spoke to me the Spirit entered me and set me on my feet; and I heard Him speaking to me.

ASV: And the Spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet; and I heard him that spake unto me.

Ezekiel 2:3

AMP: And He said to me, “I am sending you, son of man, to the children of Israel, to a rebellious people [in both the north and the south] that have rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have sinned and revolted against Me to this very day.

ASV: And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to nations that are rebellious, which have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me even unto this very day.

BSB: “Son of man,” He said to me, “I am sending you to the Israelites, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me. To this very day they and their fathers have rebelled against Me.

DARBY: And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to nations that are rebellious, which have rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me unto this very day;

DRA: And saying: Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious people, that hath revolted from me, they, and their fathers, have transgressed my covenant even unto this day.

Ezekiel 2:4

AMP: I am sending you to them who are stubborn and obstinate children, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’

ASV: And the children are impudent and stiffhearted: I do sent thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah.

BSB: They are obstinate and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you are to say to them, ‘This is what the Lord GOD says.’

DARBY: and these children are impudent and hard-hearted: I am sending thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah.

DRA: And they to whom I send thee are children of a hard face, and of an obstinate heart: and thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord God:

KJV: For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel 2:5

AMP: As for them, whether they listen or refuse [to listen]—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know and be fully aware of the fact that there has been a prophet among them.

ASV: And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

BSB: And whether they listen or refuse to listen— for they are a rebellious house— they will know that a prophet has been among them.

Ezekiel 2:6

AMP: And you, son of man, neither fear them nor fear their words; though briars and thorns are all around you and you sit among scorpions, neither fear their words nor be dismayed at their presence, for they are a rebellious house.

ASV: And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

BSB: But you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns surround you, and you dwell among scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their presence, though they are a rebellious house.

DARBY: And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, and be not afraid of their words; for briars and thorns are with thee, and thou dwellest among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, and be not dismayed at their faces; for they are a rebellious house.

DRA: And thou, O son of man, fear not, neither be thou afraid of their words: for thou art among unbelievers and destroyers, and thou dwellest with scorpions. Fear not their words, neither be thou dismayed at their looks: for they are a provoking house.

Ezekiel 2:7

AMP: But you shall speak My words to them whether they will listen or refuse [to listen], for they are [most] rebellious.

ASV: And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.

AMP: “As for you, son of man, listen to what I say to you; do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I am giving you.”

ASV: But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that which I give thee.

Ezekiel 2:9

AMP: Then I looked, and I saw a hand stretched out toward me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it.

ASV: And when I looked, behold, a hand was put forth unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

BSB: Then I looked and saw a hand reaching out to me, and in it was a scroll,

Ezekiel 2:10

AMP: And He spread it before me, and it was written on the front and on the back, and written on it were [words of] lamentation (funeral songs) and mourning and woe.

ASV: And he spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

BSB: which He unrolled before me. And written on the front and back of it were words of lamentation, mourning, and woe.
