Isaiah 12

Isaiah 12:1

ASV: And in that day thou shalt say, I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away and thou comfortest me.

DARBY: And in that day thou shalt say, Jehovah, I will praise thee; for though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

DRA: And thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

KJV: And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.

Isaiah 12:2

ASV: Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for Jehovah, [even] Jehovah, is my strength and song; and he is become my salvation.

DARBY: Behold, God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for Jah, Jehovah, is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation.

DRA: Behold, God is my saviour, I will deal confidently, and will not fear: O because the Lord is my strength, and my praise, and he is become my salvation.

Isaiah 12:3

ASV: Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

DARBY: And with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.

Isaiah 12:4

ASV: And in that day shall ye say, Give thanks unto Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his doings among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

DARBY: And in that day shall ye say, Give ye thanks to Jehovah, call upon his name, declare his deeds among the peoples, make mention that his name is exalted.

DRA: And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.

Isaiah 12:5

ASV: Sing unto Jehovah; for he hath done excellent things: let this be known in all the earth.

DARBY: Sing psalms of Jehovah, for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

DRA: Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.

KJV: Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Isaiah 12:6

ASV: Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

DARBY: Cry out and shout, thou inhabitress of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

DRA: Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.
