Job 19:2

ASV: How long will ye vex my soul, And break me in pieces with words?

DARBY: How long will ye vex my soul, and crush me with words?

DRA: How long do you afflict my soul, and break me in pieces with words?

Job 19:3

ASV: These ten times have ye reproached me: Ye are not ashamed that ye deal hardly with me.

DARBY: These ten times have ye reproached me; ye are not ashamed to stupefy me.

DRA: Behold, these ten times you confound me, and are not ashamed to oppress me.

KJV: These ten times have ye reproached me: ye are not ashamed that ye make yourselves strange to me.

Job 19:4

ASV: And be it indeed that I have erred, Mine error remaineth with myself.

DRA: For if I have been ignorant, my ignorance shall be with me.

ASV: If indeed ye will magnify yourselves against me, And plead against me my reproach;

ASV: Know now that God hath subverted me [in my cause], And hath compassed me with his net.

DRA: At least now understand, that God hath not afflicted me with an equal judgment, and compassed me with his scourges.

Job 19:7

ASV: Behold, I cry out of wrong, but I am not heard: I cry for help, but there is no justice.

Job 19:24

ASV: That with an iron pen and lead They were graven in the rock for ever!

DARBY: That with an iron style and lead they were graven in the rock for ever!

DRA: With an iron pen and in a plate of lead, or else be graven with an instrument in flint stone.

KJV: That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!

Job 19:25

ASV: But as for me I know that my Redeemer liveth, And at last he will stand up upon the earth:

DARBY: And [as for] me, I know that my Redeemer liveth, and the Last, he shall stand upon the earth;

DRA: For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and in the last day I shall rise out of the earth.

Job 19:26

ASV: And after my skin, [even] this [body], is destroyed, Then without my flesh shall I see God;

DARBY: And [if] after my skin this shall be destroyed, yet from out of my flesh shall I see God;

DRA: And I shall be clothed again with my skin, and in my flesh I will see my God.

Job 19:27

ASV: Whom I, even I, shall see, on my side, And mine eyes shall behold, and not as a stranger. My heart is consumed within me.

ASV: If ye say, How we will persecute him! And that the root of the matter is found in me;

DARBY: If ye say, How shall we persecute him? when the root of the matter is found in me,

DRA: Why then do you say now: Let us persecute him, and let us find occasion of word against him?

KJV: But ye should say, Why persecute we him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?

Job 19:29

ASV: Be ye afraid of the sword: For wrath [bringeth] the punishments of the sword, That ye may know there is a judgment.

DARBY: Be ye yourselves afraid of the sword! for the sword is fury against misdeeds, that ye may know there is a judgment.

DRA: Flee then from the face of the sword, for the sword is the revenger of iniquities: and know ye that there is judgment.

KJV: Be ye afraid of the sword: for wrath bringeth the punishments of the sword, that ye may know there is a judgment.
