Job 32:2
ASV: Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
DARBY: Then was kindled the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel, the Buzite, of the family of Ram: against Job was his anger kindled, because he justified himself rather than God;
DRA: And Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram, was angry and was moved to indignation : now he was angry against Job, because he said he was just before God.

Job 32:3
ASV: Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
DARBY: and against his three friends was his anger kindled, because they found no answer, and [yet] condemned Job.
DRA: And he was angry with his friends because they had not found a reasonable answer, but only had condemned Job.

Job 32:4
ASV: Now Elihu had waited to speak unto Job, because they were elder than he.
DARBY: But Elihu had waited till Job had finished speaking, because they were older than he.
DRA: So Eliu waited while Job was speaking, because they were his elders that were speaking.
KJV: Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.
Job 32:5
ASV: And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his wrath was kindled.
DARBY: And Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of the three men, and his anger was kindled.
DRA: But when he saw that the three were not able to answer, he was exceedingly angry.

Job 32:6
ASV: And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; Wherefore I held back, and durst not show you mine opinion.
DARBY: And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are aged; wherefore I was timid, and feared to shew you what I know.
DRA: Then Eliu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said : I am younger in days, and you are more ancient; therefore hanging down my head, I was afraid to shew you my opinion.
KJV: And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
Job 32:7
ASV: I said, Days should speak, And multitude of years should teach wisdom.
DARBY: I said, Let days speak, and multitude of years teach wisdom.
DRA: For I hoped that greater age would speak, and that a multitude of years would teach wisdom.
KJV: I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
Job 32:8
ASV: But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
DARBY: But there is a spirit which is in man; and the breath of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
DRA: But, as I see, there is a spirit in men, and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth understanding.

Job 32:9
ASV: It is not the great that are wise, Nor the aged that understand justice.
DARBY: It is not the great that are wise; neither do the aged understand judgment.

ASV: Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show mine opinion.

ASV: Behold, I waited for your words, I listened for your reasonings, Whilst ye searched out what to say.
DARBY: Lo, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasonings, until ye searched out what to say.
DRA: For I have waited for your words, I have given ear to your wisdom, as long as you were disputing in words.

Job 32:12
ASV: Yea, I attended unto you, And, behold, there was none that convinced Job, Or that answered his words, among you.
DARBY: Yea, I gave you mine attention, and behold, there was none of you that confuted Job, that answered his words;
DRA: And as long as I thought you said some thing, I considered : but, as I see, there is none of you that can convince Job, and answer his words.

Job 32:13
ASV: Beware lest ye say, We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not man:
DARBY: That ye may not say, We have found out wisdom; God will make him yield, not man.
DRA: Lest you should say : We have found wisdom, God hath cast him down, not man.
KJV: Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
Job 32:14
ASV: For he hath not directed his words against me; Neither will I answer him with your speeches.
DARBY: Now he hath not directed [his] words against me; and I will not answer him with your speeches.
DRA: He hath spoken nothing to me, and I will not answer him according to your words.
KJV: Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
Job 32:15
ASV: They are amazed, they answer no more: They have not a word to say.
DARBY: They were amazed, they answered no more; words failed them.
DRA: They were afraid, and answered no more, and they left off speaking.

Job 32:16
ASV: And shall I wait, because they speak not, Because they stand still, and answer no more?

ASV: I also will answer my part, I also will show mine opinion.

ASV: For I am full of words; The spirit within me constraineth me.

ASV: Let me not, I pray you, respect any man`s person; Neither will I give flattering titles unto any man.

ASV: For I know not to give flattering titles; [Else] would my Maker soon take me away.
