Job 33:1

ASV: Howbeit, Job, I pray thee, hear my speech, And hearken to all my words.

DARBY: Howbeit, Job, I pray thee, hear mine utterances, and hearken to all my words.

DRA: Hear therefore, O Job, my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

Job 33:2

ASV: Behold now, I have opened my mouth; My tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

Job 33:3

ASV: My words [shall utter] the uprightness of my heart; And that which my lips know they shall speak sincerely.

ASV: Behold, he findeth occasions against me, He counteth me for his enemy:

ASV: If there be with him an angel, An interpreter, one among a thousand, To show unto man what is right for him;

ASV: Then [God] is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

DARBY: Then he will be gracious unto him, and say, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

DRA: He shall have mercy on him, and shall say : Deliver him, that he may not go down to corruption : I have found wherein I may be merciful to him.

Job 33:25

ASV: His flesh shall be fresher than a child`s; He returneth to the days of his youth.

DARBY: His flesh shall be fresher than in childhood; he shall return to the days of his youth.

ASV: He prayeth unto God, and he is favorable unto him, So that he seeth his face with joy: And he restoreth unto man his righteousness.

Job 33:27

ASV: He singeth before men, and saith, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, And it profited me not:

DRA: He shall look upon men, and shall say : I have sinned, and indeed I have offended, and I have not received what I have deserved.

Job 33:28

ASV: He hath redeemed my soul from going into the pit, And my life shall behold the light.

ASV: Lo, all these things doth God work, Twice, [yea] thrice, with a man,
