Job 35:2
ASV: Thinkest thou this to be [thy] right, [Or] sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God`s,
DARBY: Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
DRA: Doth thy thought seem right to thee, that thou shouldst say : I am more just than God?
KJV: Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God’s?
Job 35:3
ASV: That thou sayest, What advantage will it be unto thee? [And], What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?
DARBY: For thou hast asked of what profit it is unto thee: what do I gain more than if I had sinned?
DRA: For thou saidst : That which is right doth not please thee : or what will it profit thee if I sin?
KJV: For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
Job 35:4
ASV: I will answer thee, And thy companions with thee.
DARBY: I will reply to thee in words, and to thy companions with thee.
DRA: Therefore I will answer thy words, and thy friends with thee.

Job 35:5
ASV: Look unto the heavens, and see; And behold the skies, which are higher than thou.
DARBY: Look unto the heavens and see; and survey the skies: they are higher than thou.
DRA: Look up to heaven and see, and behold the sky, that it is higher than thee.

Job 35:6
ASV: If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him? And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

DRA: If thou sin, what shalt thou hurt him? and if thy iniquities be multiplied, what shalt thou do against him?

ASV: If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? Or what receiveth he of thy hand?

Job 35:8
ASV: Thy wickedness [may hurt] a man as thou art; And thy righteousness [may profit] a son of man.
DARBY: Thy wickedness [may affect] a man as thou [art], and thy righteousness a son of man.
DRA: Thy wickedness may hurt a man that is like thee : and thy justice may help the son of man.
KJV: Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
Job 35:9
ASV: By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.
DARBY: By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry; they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty:
DRA: By reason of the multitude of oppressions they shall cry out : and shall wail for the violence of the arm of tyrants.
KJV: By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.

ASV: But none saith, Where is God my Maker, Who giveth songs in the night,

Job 35:11
ASV: Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, And maketh us wiser than the birds of the heavens?

DRA: Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and instructeth us more than the fowls of the air.

Job 35:12
ASV: There they cry, but none giveth answer, Because of the pride of evil men.
DARBY: There they cry, and he answereth not, because of the pride of evil men.
DRA: There shall they cry, and he will not hear, because of the pride of evil men.

Job 35:13
ASV: Surely God will not hear an empty [cry], Neither will the Almighty regard it.

DRA: God therefore will not hear in vain, and the Almighty will look into the causes of every one.

Job 35:14
ASV: How much less when thou sayest thou beholdest him not, The cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!
DARBY: Although thou sayest thou dost not see him, judgment is before him, therefore wait for him.
DRA: Yea when thou shalt say : He considereth not : be judged before him, and expect him.
KJV: Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.
Job 35:15
ASV: But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, Neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;
DARBY: But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, doth not [Job] know [his] great arrogancy?
DRA: For he doth not now bring on his fury, neither doth he revenge wickedness exceedingly.
KJV: But now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
Job 35:16
ASV: Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vanity; He multiplieth words without knowledge.
DARBY: For Job hath opened his mouth in vanity, and made words abundant without knowledge.
DRA: Therefore Job openeth his mouth in vain, and multiplieth words without knowledge.
KJV: Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
