John 10:1

AMP: “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up from some other place [on the stone wall], that one is a thief and a robber.

ASV: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

AMP: The man runs because he is a hired hand [who serves only for wages] and is not concerned about the [safety of the] sheep.

ASV: [he fleeth] because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

DARBY: Now he who serves for wages flees because he serves for wages, and is not himself concerned about the sheep.

ASV: The Jews therefore came round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou hold us in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.

BSB: So the Jews gathered around Him and demanded, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

ASV: Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father`s name, these bear witness of me.

BSB: “I already told you,” Jesus replied, “but you did not believe. The works I do in My Father’s name testify on My behalf.

DARBY: Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye do not believe. The works which I do in my Father's name, these bear witness concerning me:

DRA: Jesus answered them: I speak to you, and you believe not: the works that I do in the name of my Father, they give testimony of me.
