Leviticus 3:1

AMP: ‘If a man’s offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the Lord.

ASV: And if his oblation be a sacrifice of peace-offerings; if he offer of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before Jehovah.

BSB: “If one’s offering is a peace offering and he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he must present it without blemish before the LORD.

DARBY: And if his offering be a sacrifice of peace-offering, if he present [it] of the herd, whether a male or female, he shall present it without blemish before Jehovah.

Leviticus 3:2

AMP: He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering [transferring symbolically his guilt to the sacrifice] and kill it at the doorway of the Tent of Meeting; and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.

ASV: And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his oblation, and kill it at the door of the tent of meeting: and Aaron`s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.

BSB: He is to lay his hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall splatter the blood on all sides of the altar.

DARBY: And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and slaughter it at the entrance of the tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood on the altar round about.

DRA: And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his victim, which shall be slain in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony, and the sons of Aaron the priests shall pour the blood round about upon the altar.

Leviticus 3:3

AMP: From the sacrifice of the peace offerings, an offering by fire to the Lord, he shall present the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat which is on the entrails,

ASV: And he shall offer of the sacrifice of peace-offerings an offering made by fire unto Jehovah; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

Leviticus 3:4

AMP: and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them at the loins, and the lobe of the liver which he shall remove with the kidneys.

ASV: and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, shall he take away.

BSB: both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.

DARBY: and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver which he shall take away as far as the kidneys;

DRA: The two kidneys with the fat wherewith the flanks are covered, and the caul of the liver with the two little kidneys.

Leviticus 3:5

AMP: Aaron’s sons shall offer it up in smoke on the altar [placing it] on the burnt offering which is on the wood that is on the fire. It is an offering by fire, a sweet and soothing aroma to the Lord.

ASV: And Aaron`s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt-offering, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

BSB: Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar atop the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as a food offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

DARBY: and Aaron's sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt-offering which [lieth] on the wood that is upon the fire: [it is] an offering by fire to Jehovah of a sweet odour.

DRA: And they shall burn them upon the altar, for a holocaust, putting fire under the wood: for an oblation of most sweet savour to the Lord.

KJV: And Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar upon the burnt sacrifice, which is upon the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Leviticus 3:6

AMP: If his peace offering to the Lord is an animal from the flock, male or female, he shall offer the animal without blemish.

ASV: And if his oblation for a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Jehovah be of the flock; male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.

BSB: If, however, one’s peace offering to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without blemish.

DARBY: And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace-offering to Jehovah be of small cattle, male or female, he shall present it without blemish.

DRA: But if his oblation and the sacrifice of peace offering be of the flock, whether he offer male or female, they shall be without blemish.

Leviticus 3:7

AMP: If he offers a lamb as his offering, then he shall present it before the Lord,

ASV: If he offer a lamb for his oblation, then shall he offer it before Jehovah;

Leviticus 3:8

ASV: And he shall offer of the sacrifice of peace-offerings an offering made by fire unto Jehovah; the fat thereof, the fat tail entire, he shall take away hard by the backbone; and the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

BSB: And from the peace offering he shall bring a food offering to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,

BSB: This is a permanent statute for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.”
