Leviticus 9:1

ASV: And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;

Leviticus 9:2

ASV: and he said unto Aaron, Take thee a calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and offer them before Jehovah.

DARBY: and said to Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin-offering, and a ram for a burnt-offering, without blemish, and present [them] before Jehovah;

DRA: Take of the herd a calf for sin, and a ram for a holocaust, both without blemish, and offer them before the Lord.

Leviticus 9:3

ASV: And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a he-goat for a sin-offering; and a calf and a lamb, both a year old, without blemish, for a burnt-offering;

DARBY: and to the children of Israel shalt thou speak, saying, Take a buck of the goats for a sin-offering, and a calf and a lamb, yearlings, without blemish, for a burnt-offering;

DRA: And to the children of Israel thou shalt say: Take ye a he goat for sin, and a calf, and a lamb, both of a year old, and without blemish for a holocaust,

KJV: And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;

Leviticus 9:4

ASV: and an ox and a ram for peace-offerings, to sacrifice before Jehovah; and a meal-offering mingled with oil: for to-day Jehovah appeareth unto you.

DARBY: and a bullock and a ram for a peace-offering, to sacrifice before Jehovah; and an oblation mingled with oil; for to-day Jehovah will appear to you.

DRA: Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings: and immolate them before the Lord, offering for the sacrifice of every one of them flour tempered with oil; for to day the Lord will appear to you.

Leviticus 9:5

ASV: And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tent of meeting: and all the congregation drew near and stood before Jehovah.

DARBY: And they brought what Moses commanded before the tent of meeting; and all the assembly approached and stood before Jehovah.

DRA: They brought therefore all things that Moses had commanded before the door of the tabernacle: where when all the multitude stood,

KJV: And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

Leviticus 9:6

ASV: And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah commanded that ye should do: and the glory of Jehovah shall appear unto you.

DARBY: And Moses said, This is the thing which Jehovah has commanded that ye should do; and the glory of Jehovah shall appear to you.

DRA: Moses said: This is the word, which the Lord hath commanded: do it, and his glory will appear to you.

Leviticus 9:7

ASV: And Moses said unto Aaron, Draw near unto the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and offer the oblation of the people, and make atonement for them; as Jehovah commanded.

DARBY: And Moses said unto Aaron, Go to the altar, and offer thy sin-offering, and thy burnt-offering, and make atonement for thyself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make atonement for them, as Jehovah has commanded.

DRA: And he said to Aaron: Approach to the altar, and offer sacrifice for thy sin: offer the holocaust, and pray for thyself and for the people: and when thou hast slain the people's victim, pray for them, as the Lord hath commanded.

KJV: And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.

Leviticus 9:8

ASV: So Aaron drew near unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself.

DARBY: And Aaron went to the altar and slaughtered the calf of the sin-offering which was for himself;

DRA: And forthwith Aaron, approaching to the altar, immolated the calf for his sin:

KJV: Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

Leviticus 9:9

ASV: And the sons of Aaron presented the blood unto him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar:

DARBY: and the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put [it] on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar.

DRA: And his sons brought him the blood of it: and he dipped his finger therein, and touched the horns of the altar, and poured the rest at the foot thereof.

KJV: And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:

Leviticus 9:10

ASV: but the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul from the liver of the sin-offering, he burnt upon the altar; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

DARBY: And the fat, and the kidneys, and the net above the liver, of the sin-offering, he burned on the altar, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

DRA: And the fat, and the little kidneys, and the caul of the liver, which are for sin, he burnt upon the altar, as the Lord had commanded Moses:

Leviticus 9:11

ASV: And the flesh and the skin he burnt with fire without the camp.

DARBY: And the flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.

DRA: But the flesh and skins thereof he burnt with fire without the camp.

Leviticus 9:12

ASV: And he slew the burnt-offering; and Aaron`s sons delivered unto him the blood, and he sprinkled it upon the altar round about.

DARBY: And he slaughtered the burnt-offering; and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he sprinkled on the altar round about.

DRA: He immolated also the victim of holocaust: and his sons brought him the blood thereof, which he poured round about on the altar.

Leviticus 9:13

ASV: And they delivered the burnt-offering unto him, piece by piece, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.

DARBY: And they delivered the burnt-offering to him, in the pieces thereof, and the head; and he burned [them] on the altar.

DRA: And the victim being cut into pieces, they brought to him the head and all the members, all which he burnt with fire upon the altar,

ASV: And he washed the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt-offering on the altar.

ASV: And he presented the people`s oblation, and took the goat of the sin-offering which was for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

ASV: And he presented the burnt-offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.

Leviticus 9:17

ASV: And he presented the meal-offering, and filled his hand therefrom, and burnt it upon the altar, besides the burnt-offering of the morning.

DARBY: And he slaughtered the bullock and the ram of the sacrifice of peace-offering which was for the people. And Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, and he sprinkled it on the altar round about;

Leviticus 9:19

ASV: and the fat of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covereth [the inwards], and the kidneys, and the caul of the liver:

DARBY: and the pieces of fat of the bullock and of the ram, the fat tail and what covers [the inwards], and the kidneys, and the net of the liver;

DRA: The fat also of the bullock, and the rump of the ram, and the two little kidneys, with their fat, and the caul of the liver,

ASV: and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:

Leviticus 9:21

ASV: and the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave-offering before Jehovah; as Moses commanded.

DARBY: and the breast-pieces and the right shoulder Aaron waved as a wave-offering before Jehovah, as Moses had commanded.

DRA: Aaron separated their breasts, and the right shoulders, elevating them before the Lord, as Moses had commanded.

Leviticus 9:22

ASV: And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people, and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings.

DARBY: And Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them, and came down after the offering of the sin-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offering.

DRA: And stretching forth his hands to the people, he blessed them. And so the victims for sin, and the holocausts, and the peace offerings being finished, he came down.

ASV: And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of Jehovah appeared unto all the people.

Leviticus 9:24

ASV: And there came forth fire from before Jehovah, and consumed upon the altar the burnt-offering and the fat: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

DARBY: And there went out fire from before Jehovah, and consumed on the altar the burnt-offering, and the pieces of fat; and all the people saw it, and they shouted, and fell on their face.

DRA: And behold a fire, coming forth from the Lord, devoured the holocaust, and the fat that was upon the altar: which when the multitude saw, they praised the Lord, falling on their faces.
