Numbers 34:2

AMP: “Command the Israelites, ‘When you enter the land of Canaan, this is the land that shall be yours as an inheritance, the land of Canaan according to its boundaries,

ASV: Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to the borders thereof),

BSB: “Command the Israelites and say to them: When you enter the land of Canaan, it will be allotted to you as an inheritance with these boundaries:

Numbers 34:3

AMP: your southern region shall be from the Wilderness of Zin along the side of Edom, and your southern boundary from the end of the Salt (Dead) Sea eastward.

ASV: then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;

BSB: Your southern border will extend from the Wilderness of Zin along the border of Edom. On the east, your southern border will run from the end of the Salt Sea,

DARBY: Then your south side shall be from the wilderness of Zin alongside of Edom, and your southern border shall be from the end of the salt sea eastward;

DRA: The south side shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is by Edom: and shall have the most salt sea for its furthest limits eastward:

Numbers 34:4

AMP: Your boundary shall turn from the south to the ascent of Akrabbim, and continue on to Zin, and its limit shall be south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it shall go on to Hazar-addar and pass on to Azmon.

ASV: and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out thereof shall be southward of Kadesh-barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar-addar, and pass along to Azmon;

BSB: cross south of the Ascent of Akrabbim, continue to Zin, and go south of Kadesh-barnea. Then it will go on to Hazar-addar and proceed to Azmon,

DARBY: and your border shall turn from the south of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass on to Zin, and shall end southward at Kadesh-barnea, and shall go on to Hazar-Addar, and pass on to Azmon.

DRA: Which limits shall go round on the south side by the ascent of the Scorpion and so into Senna, and reach toward the south as far as Cadesbarne, from whence the frontiers shall go out to the town called Adar, and shall reach as far as Asemona.

Numbers 34:5

AMP: Then the boundary shall turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt (Wadi el-arish), and its limit shall be at the [Mediterranean] Sea.

ASV: and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea.

BSB: where it will turn from Azmon, join the Brook of Egypt, and end at the Sea.

DARBY: And the border shall turn from Azmon unto the torrent of Egypt, and shall end at the sea.

DRA: And the limits shall fetch a compass from Asemona to the torrent of Egypt, and shall end in the shore of the great sea.

Numbers 34:6

AMP: ‘As the western boundary you shall have the Great [Mediterranean] Sea and its coastline. This shall be your western boundary.

ASV: And for the western border, ye shall have the great sea and the border [thereof]: this shall be your west border.

BSB: Your western border will be the coastline of the Great Sea; this will be your boundary on the west.

DARBY: And as west border ye shall have the great sea, and [its] coast. This shall be your west border.

Numbers 34:7

AMP: ‘And this shall be your north border: from the Great [Mediterranean] Sea mark out your boundary line to Mount Hor;

ASV: And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor;

BSB: Your northern border will run from the Great Sea directly to Mount Hor,

Numbers 34:8

AMP: from Mount Hor you shall mark out your boundary to the entrance of Hamath, and the limit of the border shall be at Zedad;

ASV: from mount Hor ye shall mark out unto the entrance of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;

BSB: and from Mount Hor to Lebo-hamath, then extend to Zedad,

DARBY: from mount Hor ye shall mark out the entrance to Hamath, and the end of the border shall be toward Zedad;

Numbers 34:9

AMP: then the [northern] boundary shall go on to Ziphron, and its limit shall be at Hazar-enan. This shall be your northern boundary.

ASV: and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out thereof shall be at Hazar-enan: this shall be your north border.

BSB: continue to Ziphron, and end at Hazar-enan. This will be your boundary on the north.

Numbers 34:10

AMP: ‘You shall mark out your eastern boundary from Hazar-enan to Shepham;

AMP: the [eastern] boundary shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain and shall descend and reach to the slope on the east of the Sea of Chinnereth [the Sea of Galilee];

ASV: and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach unto the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;

AMP: and the [eastern] boundary shall go down to the Jordan [River], and its limit shall be at the Salt (Dead) Sea. This shall be your land according to its boundaries all around.’ ”

ASV: and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out thereof shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to the borders thereof round about.

BSB: Then the border will go down along the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea.This will be your land, defined by its borders on all sides.”

Numbers 34:13

AMP: So Moses commanded the Israelites, saying, “This is the land you are to inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to be given to the nine tribes and the half-tribe [of Manasseh],

ASV: And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall inherit by lot, which Jehovah hath commanded to give unto the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;

BSB: So Moses commanded the Israelites, “Apportion this land by lot as an inheritance. The LORD has commanded that it be given to the nine and a half tribes.
