Psalms 1:1

ASV: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:

DARBY: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners;

DRA: Blessed is the man who hath not walked in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the chair of pestilence.

KJV: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psalms 1:2

ASV: But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.

DARBY: But his delight is in Jehovah's law, and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

DRA: But his will is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he shall meditate day and night.

KJV: But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalms 1:3

ASV: And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

DARBY: And he [is] as a tree planted by brooks of water, which giveth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf fadeth not; and all that he doeth prospereth.

DRA: And he shall be like a tree which is planted near the running waters, which shall bring forth its fruit, in due season. And his leaf shall not fall off: and all whosoever he shall do shall prosper.

KJV: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalms 1:4

ASV: The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

DARBY: The wicked are not so; but are as the chaff which the wind driveth away.

DRA: Not so the wicked, not so: but like the dust, which the wind driveth from the face of the earth.

KJV: The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Psalms 1:5

ASV: Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

DARBY: Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

DRA: Therefore the wicked shall not rise again in judgment: nor sinners in the council of the just.

KJV: Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Psalms 1:6

ASV: For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish. Psalm 2

DARBY: For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.

DRA: For the Lord knoweth the way of the just: and the way of the wicked shall perish.
