Psalms 123:1

AMP: Unto you I lift up my eyes,O You who are enthroned in the heavens!

ASV: Unto thee do I lift up mine eyes, O thou that sittest in the heavens.

BSB: I lift up my eyes to You,the One enthroned in heaven.

Psalms 123:2

AMP: Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master,And as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,So our eyes look to the Lord our God,Until He is gracious and favorable toward us.

ASV: Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] unto the hand of their master, As the eyes of a maid unto the hand of her mistress; So our eyes [look] unto Jehovah our God, Until he have mercy upon us.

BSB: As the eyes of servantslook to the hand of their master,as the eyes of a maidservantlook to the hand of her mistress,so our eyes are on the LORD our Goduntil He shows us mercy.

Psalms 123:3

AMP: ¶Be gracious to us, O Lord, be gracious and favorable toward us,For we are greatly filled with contempt.

ASV: Have mercy upon us, O Jehovah, have mercy upon us; For we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

Psalms 123:4

AMP: Our soul is greatly filledWith the scoffing of those who are at ease,And with the contempt of the proud [who disregard God’s law].

Psalms 123:5

DRA: Pray ye for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem: and abundance for them that love thee.

Psalms 123:7

DRA: Let peace be in thy strength: and abundance in thy towers.

Psalms 123:8

DRA: For the sake of my brethren, and of my neighbours, I spoke peace of thee.

Psalms 123:9

DRA: Because of the house of the Lord our God, I have sought good things for thee.
