Psalms 124

Psalms 124:1

ASV: If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side, Let Israel now say,

DARBY: {A Song of degrees. Of David.} If it had not been Jehovah who was for us oh let Israel say

DRA: To thee have I lifted up my eyes, who dwellest in heaven.

KJV: If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

Psalms 124:2

ASV: If it had not been Jehovah who was on our side, When men rose up against us;

DRA: Behold as the eyes of the servants are on the hands of their masters, As the eyes of the handmaid are on the hands of her mistress: so are our eyes unto the Lord our God, until he have mercy on us.

ASV: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, The stream had gone over our soul;

ASV: Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: The snare is broken, and we are escaped.
