Psalms 128:1

AMP: Blessed [happy and sheltered by God’s favor] is everyone who fears the Lord [and worships Him with obedience],Who walks in His ways and lives according to His commandments. [Ps 1:1, 2]

ASV: Blessed is every one that feareth Jehovah, That walketh in his ways.

BSB: Blessed are all who fear the LORD,who walk in His ways!

Psalms 128:2

AMP: For you shall eat the fruit of [the labor of] your hands,You will be happy and blessed and it will be well with you.

ASV: For thou shalt eat the labor of thy hands: Happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.

Psalms 128:3

AMP: Your wife shall be like a fruitful vineWithin the innermost part of your house;Your children will be like olive plantsAround your table.

ASV: Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine, In the innermost parts of thy house; Thy children like olive plants, Round about thy table.

BSB: Your wife will be like a fruitful vineflourishing within your house,your sons like olive shootssitting around your table.

Psalms 128:4

AMP: Behold, for so shall the man be blessed and divinely favoredWho fears the Lord [and worships Him with obedience].

ASV: Behold, thus shall the man be blessed That feareth Jehovah.

BSB: In this way indeed shall blessing cometo the man who fears the LORD.

DARBY: Behold, thus shall the man be blessed that feareth Jehovah.

Psalms 128:5

AMP: ¶May the Lord bless you from Zion [His holy mountain],And may you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life;

ASV: Jehovah bless thee out of Zion: And see thou the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.

BSB: May the LORD bless you from Zion,that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalemall the days of your life,
