Psalms 131:1

ASV: Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; Neither do I exercise myself in great matters, Or in things too wonderful for me.

KJV: LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.

Psalms 131:2

ASV: Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother, Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

DARBY: Surely I have restrained and composed my soul, like a weaned child with its mother: my soul within me is as a weaned child.

DRA: Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.

KJV: Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Psalms 131:3

ASV: O Israel, hope in Jehovah From this time forth and for evermore. Psalm 132 A Song of Ascents.

DRA: If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.

Psalms 131:4

DRA: For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word:

Psalms 131:5

DRA: my soul hath hoped in the Lord.

Psalms 131:6

DRA: From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.

Psalms 131:7

DRA: Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him plentiful redemption.

Psalms 131:8

DRA: And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
