Psalms 143:1

AMP: Hear my prayer, O Lord,Listen to my supplications!Answer me in Your faithfulness, and in Your righteousness.

ASV: Hear my prayer, O Jehovah; give ear to my supplications: In thy faithfulness answer me, [and] in thy righteousness.

Psalms 143:2

AMP: And do not enter into judgment with Your servant,For in Your sight no man living is righteous or justified. [Ps 130:3; Rom 3:20-26; Gal 2:16]

ASV: And enter not into judgment with thy servant; For in thy sight no man living is righteous.

BSB: Do not bring Your servant into judgment,for no one alive is righteous before You.

Psalms 143:3

AMP: For the enemy has persecuted me,He has crushed my life down to the ground;He has made me dwell in dark places, like those who have been long dead.

ASV: For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; He hath smitten my life down to the ground: He hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.

Psalms 143:7

AMP: ¶Answer me quickly, O Lord, my spirit fails;Do not hide Your face from me,Or I will become like those who go down into the pit (grave).

ASV: Make haste to answer me, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: Hide not thy face from me, Lest I become like them that go down into the pit.

Psalms 143:8

AMP: Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,For I trust in You.Teach me the way in which I should walk,For I lift up my soul to You.

ASV: Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.

BSB: Let me hear Your loving devotion in the morning,for I have put my trust in You.Teach me the way I should walk,for to You I lift up my soul.

Psalms 143:10

AMP: ¶Teach me to do Your will [so that I may please You],For You are my God;Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

ASV: Teach me to do thy will; For thou art my God: Thy Spirit is good; Lead me in the land of uprightness.

BSB: Teach me to do Your will,for You are my God.May Your good Spirit lead meon level ground.

Psalms 143:11

AMP: Save my life, O Lord, for Your name’s sake;In Your righteousness bring my life out of trouble.

AMP: In your lovingkindness, silence and destroy my enemiesAnd destroy all those who afflict my life,For I am Your servant.
