Psalms 17:1

AMP: Hear the just (righteous) cause, O Lord; listen to my loud [piercing] cry;Listen to my prayer, that comes from guileless lips.

ASV: Hear the right, O Jehovah, attend unto my cry; Give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.

BSB: Hear, O LORD, my righteous plea;listen to my cry.Give ear to my prayer—it comes from lips free of deceit.

Psalms 17:2

AMP: Let my verdict of vindication come from Your presence;May Your eyes look with equity and behold things that are just.

ASV: Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; Let thine eyes look upon equity.

DARBY: Let my judgment come forth from thy presence, let thine eyes regard equity.

Psalms 17:3

AMP: You have tried my heart;You have visited me in the night;You have tested me and You find nothing [evil in me];I intend that my mouth will not transgress.

ASV: Thou hast proved my heart; thou hast visited me in the night; Thou hast tried me, and findest nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Psalms 17:4

AMP: Concerning the deeds of men, by the word of Your lipsI have kept away from the paths of the violent.

ASV: As for the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the ways of the violent.

Psalms 17:14

AMP: From men with Your hand, O Lord,From men of the world [these moths of the night] whose portion [of enjoyment] is in this life—idle and vain,And whose belly You fill with Your treasure;They are satisfied with children,And they leave what they have left [of wealth] to their children.

ASV: From men by thy hand, O Jehovah, From men of the world, whose portion is in [this] life, And whose belly thou fillest with thy treasure: They are satisfied with children, And leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

BSB: from such men, O LORD, by Your hand—from men of the worldwhose portion is in this life.May You fill the bellies of Your treasured ones and satisfy their sons,so they leave their abundance to their children.

DARBY: From men [who are] thy hand, O Jehovah, from men of this age: their portion is in [this] life, and their belly thou fillest with thy hid [treasure]; they have their fill of sons, and leave the rest of their [substance] to their children.

DRA: from the enemies of thy hand. O Lord, divide them from the few of the earth in their life: their belly is filled from thy hidden stores. They are full of children: and they have left to their little ones the rest of their substance.

KJV: From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

Psalms 17:15

AMP: As for me, I shall see Your face in righteousness;I will be [fully] satisfied when I awake [to find myself] seeing Your likeness.

ASV: As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with [beholding] thy form. Psalm 18 For the Chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David the servant of Jehovah, who spake unto Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: and he said,
