Psalms 21:1

AMP: O Lord the king will delight in Your strength,And in Your salvation how greatly will he rejoice!

ASV: The king shall joy in thy strength, O Jehovah; And in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

BSB: O LORD, the king rejoices in Your strength.How greatly he exults in Your salvation!

Psalms 21:2

AMP: You have given him his heart’s desire,And You have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.

Psalms 21:3

AMP: For You meet him with blessings of good things;You set a crown of pure gold on his head.

Psalms 21:4

Psalms 21:5

Psalms 21:6

Psalms 21:7

AMP: ¶For the king [confidently] trusts in the Lord,And through the lovingkindness (faithfulness, goodness) of the Most High he will never be shaken.

ASV: For the king trusteth in Jehovah; And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he shall not be moved.

BSB: For the king trusts in the LORD;through the loving devotion of the Most High,he will not be shaken.

Psalms 21:8

AMP: Your hand will reach out and defeat all your enemies;Your right hand will reach those who hate you.

AMP: You will make them as [if in] a blazing oven in the time of your anger;The Lord will swallow them up in His wrath,And the fire will devour them.

ASV: Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.

BSB: You will place them in a fiery furnaceat the time of Your appearing.In His wrath the LORD will engulf them,and the fire will consume them.

Psalms 21:10

AMP: Their offspring You will destroy from the earth,And their descendants from the sons of men.

ASV: Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men.
