Psalms 27:1
ASV: Jehovah is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
DARBY: {[A Psalm] of David.} Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
DRA: The psalm of David before he was anointed. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the protector of my life: of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalms 27:2
ASV: When evil-doers came upon me to eat up my flesh, [Even] mine adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
DARBY: When evil-doers, mine adversaries and mine enemies, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
DRA: Whilst the wicked draw near against me, to eat my flesh. My enemies that trouble me, have themselves been weakened, and have fallen.

Psalms 27:3
ASV: Though a host should encamp against me, My heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, Even then will I be confident.
DARBY: If a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; if war rise against me, in this will I be confident.
DRA: If armies in camp should stand together against me, my heart shall not fear. If a battle should rise up against me, in this will I be confident.

Psalms 27:4
ASV: One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple.
DARBY: One [thing] have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of Jehovah, and to inquire [of him] in his temple.
DRA: One thing I have asked of the Lord, this will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life. That I may see the delight of the Lord, and may visit his temple.

Psalms 27:5
ASV: For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion: In the covert of his tabernacle will he hide me; He will lift me up upon a rock.
DARBY: For in the day of evil he will hide me in his pavilion; in the secret of his tent will he keep me concealed: he will set me high upon a rock.
DRA: For he hath hidden me in his tabernacle; in the day of evils, he hath protected me in the secret place of his tabernacle.

ASV: And now shall my head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me. And I will offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto Jehovah.
DARBY: And now shall my head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me; and I will offer in his tent sacrifices of shouts of joy: I will sing, yea, I will sing psalms unto Jehovah.
DRA: He hath exalted me upon a rock: and now he hath lifted up my head above my enemies. I have gone round, and have offered up in his tabernacle a sacrifice of jubilation: I will sing, and recite a psalm to the Lord.

ASV: Hear, O Jehovah, when I cry with my voice: Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

ASV: [When thou saidst], Seek ye my face; My heart said unto thee, Thy face, Jehovah, will I seek.

ASV: Hide not thy face from me; Put not thy servant away in anger: Thou hast been my help; Cast me not off, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

ASV: When my father and my mother forsake me, Then Jehovah will take me up.

ASV: Deliver me not over unto the will of mine adversaries: For false witnesses are risen up against me, And such as breathe out cruelty.
DARBY: Deliver me not over to the will of mine adversaries; for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out violence.
DRA: Deliver me not over to the will of them that trouble me; for unjust witnesses have risen up against me; and iniquity hath lied to itself.

Psalms 27:13
ASV: [I had fainted], unless I had believed to see the goodness of Jehovah In the land of the living.
