Psalms 30:1

AMP: I will extol and praise You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up,And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.

ASV: I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

BSB: I will exalt You, O LORD,for You have lifted me upand have not allowed my foesto rejoice over me.

Psalms 30:2

AMP: O Lord my God,I cried to You for help, and You have healed me.

Psalms 30:3

AMP: O Lord, You have brought my life up from Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead);You have kept me alive, so that I would not go down to the pit (grave).

ASV: O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.

BSB: O LORD, You pulled me up from Sheol;You spared me from descending into the Pit.

Psalms 30:4

AMP: Sing to the Lord, O you His godly ones,And give thanks at the mention of His holy name.

Psalms 30:5

AMP: For His anger is but for a moment,His favor is for a lifetime.Weeping may endure for a night,But a shout of joy comes in the morning. [2 Cor 4:17]

ASV: For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy [cometh] in the morning.

Psalms 30:6

AMP: ¶As for me, in my prosperity I said,“I shall never be moved.”

AMP: By Your favor and grace, O Lord, you have made my mountain stand strong;You hid Your face, and I was horrified.

Psalms 30:9

AMP: “What profit is there in my blood (death), if I go down to the pit (grave)?Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness [to man]?

ASV: What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

BSB: “What gain is there in my bloodshed,in my descent to the Pit?Will the dust praise You?Will it proclaim Your faithfulness?

Psalms 30:12

AMP: That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent.O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.
