Psalms 36:1

ASV: The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.

DARBY: {To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the servant of Jehovah; of David.} The transgression of the wicked uttereth within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.

DRA: Unto the end, for the servant of God, David himself.

Psalms 36:2

ASV: For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, That his iniquity will not be found out and be hated.

DRA: The unjust hath said within himself, that he would sin : there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Psalms 36:3

ASV: The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: He hath ceased to be wise [and] to do good.

DRA: For in his sight he hath done deceitfully, that his iniquity may be found unto hatred.

Psalms 36:4

ASV: He deviseth iniquity upon his bed; He setteth himself in a way that is not good; He abhorreth not evil.

DRA: The words of his mouth are iniquity and guile : he would not understand that he might do well.

Psalms 36:5

ASV: Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, is in the heavens; Thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the skies.

DARBY: Jehovah, thy loving-kindness is in the heavens, and thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds.

DRA: He hath devised iniquity on his bed, he hath set himself on every way that is not good : but evil he hath not hated.

KJV: Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Psalms 36:6

ASV: Thy righteousness is like the mountains of God; Thy judgments are a great deep: O Jehovah, thou preservest man and beast.

DARBY: Thy righteousness is like the high mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: thou, Jehovah, preservest man and beast.

DRA: O Lord, thy mercy is in heaven, and thy truth reacheth, even to the clouds.

KJV: Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Psalms 36:7

ASV: How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

DARBY: How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! So the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings.

DRA: Thy justice is as the mountains of God, thy judgments are a great deep. Men and beasts thou wilt preserve, O Lord :

KJV: How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Psalms 36:8

ASV: They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

DARBY: They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

DRA: O how hast thou multiplied thy mercy, O God! But the children of men shall put their trust under the covert of thy wings.

Psalms 36:9

ASV: For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light.

DARBY: For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

DRA: They shall be inebriated with the plenty of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the torrent of thy pleasure.

Psalms 36:10

ASV: Oh continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee, And thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

DARBY: Continue thy loving-kindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart;

DRA: For with thee is the fountain of life; and in thy light we shall see light.

Psalms 36:11

ASV: Let not the foot of pride come against me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.

DRA: Extend thy mercy to them that know thee, and thy justice to them that are right in heart.

Psalms 36:12

ASV: There are the workers of iniquity fallen: They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise. Psalm 37 [A Psalm] of David.

DRA: Let not the foot of pride come to me, and let not the hand of the sinner move me.
