Psalms 57

Psalms 57:1

AMP: Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious and merciful to me,For my soul finds shelter and safety in You,And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge and be confidently secureUntil destruction passes by.

ASV: Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; For my soul taketh refuge in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge, Until [these] calamities be overpast.

Psalms 57:2

AMP: I will cry to God Most High,Who accomplishes all things on my behalf [for He completes my purpose in His plan].

ASV: I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth [all things] for me.

Psalms 57:3

ASV: My soul is among lions; I lie among them that are set on fire, Even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, And their tongue a sharp sword.
