Psalms 61:1

ASV: Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer.

Psalms 61:2

ASV: From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

DARBY: From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: thou wilt lead me on to a rock which is too high for me.

DRA: Hear, O God, my supplication: be attentive to my prayer,

Psalms 61:3

ASV: For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy.

DARBY: For thou hast been a refuge for me, a strong tower from before the enemy.

DRA: To thee have I cried from the ends of the earth: when my heart was in anguish, thou hast exalted me on a rock. Thou hast conducted me;

Psalms 61:4

ASV: I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. Selah

Psalms 61:5

ASV: For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: Thou hast given [me] the heritage of those that fear thy name.

Psalms 61:6

ASV: Thou wilt prolong the king`s life; His years shall be as many generations.

Psalms 61:7

ASV: He shall abide before God for ever: Oh prepare lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.

DARBY: He shall abide before God for ever: bestow loving-kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.

Psalms 61:8

ASV: So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, That I may daily perform my vows. Psalm 62 For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthan. A Psalm of David.
