Psalms 64:1

ASV: Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint: Preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

Psalms 64:2

ASV: Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, From the tumult of the workers of iniquity;

Psalms 64:3

ASV: Who have whet their tongue like a sword, And have aimed their arrows, even bitter words,

ASV: They encourage themselves in an evil purpose; They commune of laying snares privily; They say, Who will see them?

Psalms 64:6

ASV: They search out iniquities; We have accomplished, [say they], a diligent search: And the inward thought and the heart of every one is deep.

DARBY: They devise iniquities: We have it ready, the plan is diligently sought out. And each one's inward [thought] and heart is deep.

DRA: They will shoot at him on a sudden, and will not fear: they are resolute in wickedness. They have talked of hiding snares; they have said: Who shall see them?

Psalms 64:7

ASV: But God will shoot at them; With an arrow suddenly shall they be wounded.

DRA: They have searched after iniquities: they have failed in their search. Man shall come to a deep heart:

Psalms 64:8

ASV: So they shall be made to stumble, their own tongue being against them: All that see them shall wag the head.
