Psalms 65:1

ASV: Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed.

DARBY: {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David: a Song.} Praise waiteth for thee in silence, O God, in Zion; and unto thee shall the vow be performed.

ASV: Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.

Psalms 65:4

ASV: Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.

DRA: The words of the wicked have prevailed over us: and thou wilt pardon our transgressions.

Psalms 65:5

ASV: By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:

Psalms 65:6

ASV: Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;

DRA: wonderful in justice. Hear us, O God our saviour, who art the hope of all the ends of the earth, and in the sea afar off.

ASV: Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.

Psalms 65:8

ASV: They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.

Psalms 65:9

ASV: Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth.

DRA: and they that dwell in the uttermost borders shall be afraid at thy signs: thou shalt make the outgoings of the morning and of the evening to be joyful.

Psalms 65:10

ASV: Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof.

DARBY: Thou dost satiate its furrows, thou smoothest its clods, thou makest it soft with showers; thou blessest the springing thereof.

DRA: Thou hast visited the earth, and hast plentifully watered it; thou hast many ways enriched it. The river of God is filled with water, thou hast prepared their food: for so is its preparation.

Psalms 65:11

ASV: Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness.

Psalms 65:12

ASV: They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.

Psalms 65:13

Psalms 65:14

DRA: The rams of the flock are clothed, and the vales shall abound with corn: they shall shout, yea they shall sing a hymn.
