Psalms 68:1

ASV: Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; Let them also that hate him flee before him.

Psalms 68:2

ASV: As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: As wax melteth before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

ASV: But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: Yea, let them rejoice with gladness.

Psalms 68:5

Psalms 68:6

ASV: God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a parched land.

ASV: The earth trembled, The heavens also dropped [rain] at the presence of God: Yon Sinai [trembled] at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

Psalms 68:9

ASV: Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, Thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

DARBY: Thou, O God, didst pour a plentiful rain upon thine inheritance, and when it was weary thou strengthenedst it.

DRA: The earth was moved, and the heavens dropped at the presence of the God of Sina, at the presence of the God of Israel.

Psalms 68:10

ASV: Thy congregation dwelt therein: Thou, O God, didst prepare of thy goodness for the poor.

DARBY: Thy flock hath dwelt therein: thou hast prepared in thy goodness, for the afflicted, O God!

DRA: Thou shalt set aside for thy inheritance a free rain, O God: and it was weakened, but thou hast made it perfect.

Psalms 68:11

ASV: The Lord giveth the word: The women that publish the tidings are a great host.

Psalms 68:12

ASV: Kings of armies flee, they flee; And she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.

Psalms 68:13

ASV: When ye lie among the sheepfolds, [It is as] the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.

DARBY: Though ye have lain among the sheepfolds, [ye shall be as] wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with green gold.

DRA: The king of powers is of the beloved, of the beloved; and the beauty of the house shall divide spoils.

Psalms 68:14

ASV: When the Almighty scattered kings therein, [It was as when] it snoweth in Zalmon.

DRA: If you sleep among the midst of lots, you shall be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and the hinder parts of her back with the paleness of gold.

Psalms 68:15

ASV: A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A high mountain is the mountain of Bashan.

DRA: When he that is in heaven appointeth kings over her, they shall be whited with snow in Selmon.

Psalms 68:16

ASV: Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, At the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? Yea, Jehovah will dwell [in it] for ever.

DRA: The mountain of God is a fat mountain. A curdled mountain, a fat mountain.

Psalms 68:17

ASV: The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them, [as in] Sinai, in the sanctuary.

Psalms 68:18

ASV: Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led away captives; Thou hast received gifts among men, Yea, [among] the rebellious also, that Jehovah God might dwell [with them].

Psalms 68:19

ASV: Blessed be the Lord, who daily beareth our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah

Psalms 68:20

ASV: God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto Jehovah the Lord belongeth escape from death.

DARBY: Our God is the God of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth [even] from death.

DRA: Blessed be the Lord day by day: the God of our salvation will make our journey prosperous to us.

Psalms 68:21

ASV: But God will smite through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his guiltiness.

DARBY: Verily God will smite the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him that goeth on still in his trespasses.

DRA: Our God is the God of salvation: and of the Lord, of the Lord are the issues from death.

ASV: The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depths of the sea;

ASV: That thou mayest crush [them], [dipping] thy foot in blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from [thine] enemies.

ASV: Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, [ye that are] of the fountain of Israel.

ASV: Thy God hath commanded thy strength: Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

ASV: Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God.

ASV: Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the skies.
