Psalms 69:1

ASV: Save me, O God; For the waters are come in unto my soul.

DARBY: {To the chief Musician. Upon Shoshannim. [A Psalm] of David.} Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto [my] soul.

Psalms 69:2

Psalms 69:4

ASV: They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: They that would cut me off, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: That which I took not away I have to restore.

Psalms 69:5

ASV: O God, thou knowest my foolishness; And my sins are not hid from thee.

DARBY: Thou, O God, knowest my foolishness, and my trespasses are not hidden from thee.

DRA: They are multiplied above the hairs of my head, who hate me without cause. My enemies are grown strong who have wrongfully persecuted me: then did I pay that which I took not away.

Psalms 69:6

ASV: Let not them that wait for thee be put to shame through me, O Lord Jehovah of hosts: Let not those that seek thee be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel.

DARBY: Let not them that wait on thee, Lord, Jehovah of hosts, be ashamed through me; let not those that seek thee be confounded through me, O God of Israel.

DRA: O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my offences are not hidden from thee:

Psalms 69:7

ASV: Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; Shame hath covered my face.

DRA: Let not them be ashamed for me, who look for thee, O Lord, the Lord of hosts. Let them not be confounded on my account, who seek thee, O God of Israel.

ASV: I am become a stranger unto my brethren, And an alien unto my mother`s children.

ASV: Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: Let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
