Psalms 7:1

AMP: O Lord my God, in You I take refuge;Save me and rescue me from all those who pursue me,

ASV: O Jehovah my God, in thee do I take refuge: Save me from all them that pursue me, and deliver me,

BSB: O LORD my God, I take refuge in You;save me and deliver me from all my pursuers,

Psalms 7:2

AMP: So that my enemy will not tear me like a lion,Dragging me away while there is no one to rescue [me].

ASV: Lest they tear my soul like a lion, Rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.

Psalms 7:3

AMP: ¶O Lord my God, if I have done this,If there is injustice in my hands,

Psalms 7:4

AMP: If I have done evil to him who was at peace with me,Or without cause robbed him who was my enemy,

ASV: If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (Yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary;)

BSB: if I have rewarded my ally with evil,if I have plundered my foe without cause,

Psalms 7:5

AMP: Let the enemy pursue me and overtake me;And let him trample my life to the groundAnd lay my honor in the dust. Selah.

ASV: Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; Yea, let him tread my life down to the earth, And lay my glory in the dust. Selah

Psalms 7:6

AMP: ¶Arise, O Lord, in Your anger;Lift up Yourself against the rage of my enemies;Rise up for me; You have commanded judgment and vindication.

ASV: Arise, O Jehovah, in thine anger; Lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries, And awake for me; thou hast commanded judgment.

BSB: Arise, O LORD, in Your anger;rise up against the fury of my enemies.Awake, my God, and ordain judgment.

DARBY: Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.

Psalms 7:7

AMP: Let the assembly of the nations be gathered around You,And return on high over them.

ASV: And let the congregation of the peoples compass thee about; And over them return thou on high.

BSB: Let the assembled peoples gather around You;take Your seat over them on high.

DARBY: And the assembly of the peoples shall encompass thee; and for their sakes return thou on high.

DRA: Rise up, O Lord, in thy anger: and be thou exalted in the borders of my enemies. And arise, O Lord my God, in the precept which thou hast commanded:

Psalms 7:8

AMP: The Lord judges the peoples;Judge me, O Lord, and grant me justice according to my righteousness and according to the integrity within me.

ASV: Jehovah ministereth judgment to the peoples: Judge me, O Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and to mine integrity that is in me.

BSB: The LORD judges the peoples;vindicate me, O LORD,according to my righteousness and integrity.

DARBY: Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.

DRA: and a congregation of people shall surround thee. And for their sakes return thou on high.

KJV: The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

Psalms 7:9

AMP: Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous [those in right standing with You];For the righteous God tries the hearts and minds. [Rev 2:23]

ASV: O let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous: For the righteous God trieth the minds and hearts.

BSB: Put an end to the evil of the wicked,but establish the righteous,O righteous God who searches hearts and minds.

Psalms 7:10

AMP: My shield and my defense depend on God,Who saves the upright in heart.

ASV: My shield is with God, Who saveth the upright in heart.

DRA: The wickedness of sinners shall be brought to nought: and thou shalt direct the just: the searcher of hearts and reins is God.

Psalms 7:11

AMP: God is a righteous judge,And a God who is indignant every day.

ASV: God is a righteous judge, Yea, a God that hath indignation every day.

Psalms 7:12

Psalms 7:13

Psalms 7:14

AMP: Behold, the [wicked and irreverent] man is pregnant with sin,And he conceives mischief and gives birth to lies.

ASV: Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; Yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

Psalms 7:15

Psalms 7:16

AMP: His mischief will return on his own head,And his violence will come down on the top of his head [like loose dirt].

Psalms 7:17

AMP: ¶I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness and justice,And I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.
