Psalms 70:1

ASV: [Make haste], O God, to deliver me; Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.

DARBY: {To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David: to bring to remembrance.} Make haste, O God, to deliver me; Jehovah, [hasten] to my help.

DRA: Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him.

KJV: Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

Psalms 70:2

ASV: Let them be put to shame and confounded That seek after my soul: Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor That delight in my hurt.

DARBY: Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek after my soul; let them be turned backward and confounded that take pleasure in mine adversity;

DRA: O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.

KJV: Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.

Psalms 70:3

ASV: Let them be turned back by reason of their shame That say, Aha, aha.

DARBY: Let them turn back because of their shame that say, Aha! Aha!

DRA: Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:

KJV: Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.

Psalms 70:4

ASV: Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; And let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

DARBY: Let all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee, and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified!

DRA: Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: 'T is well, 't is well.

Psalms 70:5

ASV: But I am poor and needy; Make haste unto me, O God: Thou art my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, make no tarrying. Psalm 71

DARBY: But I am afflicted and needy: make haste unto me, O God. Thou art my help and my deliverer: O Jehovah, make no delay.

DRA: Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.

KJV: But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.

DRA: But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.
