Psalms 85:1

AMP: O Lord, You have [at last] shown favor to Your land [of Canaan];You have restored [from Babylon] the captives of Jacob (Israel).

ASV: Jehovah, thou hast been favorable unto thy land; Thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

BSB: You showed favor to Your land, O LORD;You restored Jacob from captivity.

Psalms 85:2

AMP: You have forgiven the wickedness of Your people;You have covered all their sin. Selah.

Psalms 85:3

AMP: You have withdrawn all Your wrath,You have turned away from Your burning anger.

Psalms 85:4

AMP: ¶Restore us, O God of our salvation,And cause Your indignation toward us to cease.

Psalms 85:5

AMP: Will You be angry with us forever?Will You prolong Your anger to all generations?

Psalms 85:6

AMP: Will You not revive us and bring us to life again,That Your people may rejoice in You?

Psalms 85:8

AMP: ¶I will hear [with expectant hope] what God the Lord will say,For He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones—But let them not turn again to folly.

ASV: I will hear what God Jehovah will speak; For he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: But let them not turn again to folly.

Psalms 85:11

Psalms 85:12

AMP: Indeed, the Lord will give what is good,And our land will yield its produce.

Psalms 85:13
