Song of Solomon 6:1

ASV: Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? Whither hath thy beloved turned him, That we may seek him with thee?

DARBY: Whither is thy beloved gone, Thou fairest among women? Whither is thy beloved turned aside? And we will seek him with thee.

DRA: My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the bed of aromatical spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

ASV: My beloved is gone down to his garden, To the beds of spices, To feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

ASV: Thou art fair, O my love, as Tirzah, Comely as Jerusalem, Terrible as an army with banners.

DRA: Turn away thy eyes from me, for they have made me flee away. Thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from Galaad.

Song of Solomon 6:5

ASV: Turn away thine eyes from me, For they have overcome me. Thy hair is as a flock of goats, That lie along the side of Gilead.

DARBY: Turn away thine eyes from me, For they overcome me. Thy hair is as a flock of goats On the slopes of Gilead.

DRA: Thy teeth as a flock of sheep, which come up from the washing, all with twins, and there is none barren among them.

ASV: Thy teeth are like a flock of ewes, Which are come up from the washing; Whereof every one hath twins, And none is bereaved among them.

DARBY: Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep Which go up from the washing; Which have all borne twins, And none is barren among them.

DRA: Thy cheeks are as the bark of a pomegranate, beside what is hidden within thee.

ASV: Thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate Behind thy veil.

DARBY: As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples Behind thy veil.

DRA: There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and young maidens without number.

Song of Solomon 6:10

ASV: Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, Fair as the moon, Clear as the sun, Terrible as an army with banners?

DARBY: Who is she that looketh forth as the dawn, Fair as the moon, clear as the sun, Terrible as troops with banners?

DRA: I went down into the garden of nuts, to see the fruits of the valleys, and to look if the vineyard had flourished, and the pomegranates budded.

KJV: Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?

Song of Solomon 6:11

ASV: I went down into the garden of nuts, To see the green plants of the valley, To see whether the vine budded, [And] the pomegranates were in flower.

DARBY: I went down into the garden of nuts, To see the verdure of the valley, To see whether the vine budded, Whether the pomegranates blossomed.

DRA: I knew not: my soul troubled me for the chariots of Aminadab.

Song of Solomon 6:12

ASV: Before I was aware, my soul set me [Among] the chariots of my princely people.

DARBY: Before I was aware, My soul set me upon the chariots of my willing people.

DRA: Return, return, O Sulamitess : return, return that we may behold thee.

KJV: Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib.

Song of Solomon 6:13

ASV: Return, return, O Shulammite; Return, return, that we may look upon thee. Why will ye look upon the Shulammite, As upon the dance of Mahanaim?

DARBY: Return, return, O Shulamite; Return, return, that we may look upon thee. What would ye look upon in the Shulamite? As it were the dance of two camps.
