The Sabbath

Questions on the Sabbath day. (a topic not often discussed enough among Christians) 1. What is the purpose 2. What is commanded of us on this day 3. Why do some Christians “latter day” saints hold this day or the “1st day” 4. What is the purpose of the Sabbath celebration a. To celebrate God creation as he rested on the 7th day b. To celebrate God bring Israel out of Egypt c. Not to be confused with the 1st day as Christians celebrate Christ who rose on the 1st day according to the bibl. 5. There are many Sabbaths, and we can discuss as opposed to the Gregorian calendar vs. the Hebrew Calendar I know this is a lot. But would love to see discussion on this.
